Tom Kelley Sr. took some of the earliest photos of Marguerite Empey in the early-to-mid 1950's. He is best known for the Red Velvet photo of Marilyn Monroe taken at his Hollywood studio in 1949. Hugh Hefner used this photo to launch Playboy Magazine in 1953. Tom Kelley Jr, currently runs the studio, now located in Ventura Ca.
Hal Adams took the first photo of Marguerite used as a Playboy centerfold in May 1955. He photographed many of the early Playmate centerfolds.
Russ Meyer, took the second Playboy centerfoldfor the February 1956 issue. Meyer's favorite model was his wife Eve but his next favorite was Diane
Andre de Dienes is noted for photographing Norma Jean Baker in 1945 and having a brief affair with her. She went on to be known as Marilyn Monroe.
David M. Mills phoographed Diane in many natural settings such as the desert and waterfalls. He had a studio in Hollywood Ca. from the early 1950's until 1965 when he relocated to Grass Valley Ca.
Peter Gowland used Diane frequently in the mid 1950's. He loved the creative quality she brought to every session.
